Leapreneur is a word we coined to refer to an employee who is in the process of taking the leap to become a successful entrepreneur. We know that taking a leap is a big move because generally, we Filipinos have been trained to become employees, not entrepreneurs.
However, it’s also something that is achievable, as proven by a lot of successful entrepreneurs who were former employees. All you need is a lot of courage, perseverance, and faith in yourself that you can make the big leap to entrepreneurship.
You might be wondering what our logo is all about. Well, the “chick” on the branch with no leaves represents an employee who is contemplating of “taking the leap” to become a full-time entrepreneur.
They know that there are bright opportunities available when they become entrepreneurs, but at the same time, they are afraid to make the jump because they might fall.
The chick analogy can also mean that at this point, you are still young and inexperienced when it comes to starting and growing a business. So it’s wise to get guidance from experienced entrepreneurs first to minimize your risk and “trial and errors.”
I wish there was a community like this when I was starting out 15 years ago. Maybe I didn’t have to lose a lot…
After 15 years of being an entrepreneur (and the first entrep in our family), I made a lot of mistakes along the way. In fact, I lost more than P1M trying to figure out how to succeed in business.
Now, I realized that the mistakes I made are very valuable to aspiring entrepreneurs who also wanted to escape the corporate world and become entrepreneurs, as well as to the current entrepreneurs who want guidance and help in growing their business.
In addition, I found out that there are a lot of successful entrepreneurs out there who also want to share their lessons to others. It’s their small way of giving back to the community.
That’s why I decided to build the Leapreneur Online Community, to help current and aspiring leapreneurs like you to start and grow your own business, by sharing business insights and providing tools.
So, I want to invite you to be part of this exciting entrepreneurship journey with us. It is our hope that sooner or later, you will eventually take the leap and become a Certified Leapreneur…
We want to help at least 1,000 employees and OFWs to start their own business and become Certified Leapreneurs! We know that transitioning from employee to entrepreneur is a BIG STEP so we want to guide you in this exciting journey.
In addition, we also want to help entrepreneurs grow their business by sharing with them the blueprint to success.
