ABOUT OUR GUEST

Web_Session-6-01Mark Bryan Asilo was a former employee who took the leap of faith and became a certified entrepreneur.

In 2005, he became part of Procter & Gamble Philippines where he worked as plant engineer. His job was mainly to operate the manufacturing lines for soap bars. After about three years as plant engineer, he has outgrown the job and asked to be transferred in Makati where he became a systems analyst or an Information Technology person.

This move made him realize the truth about the real world – that you are not bound by your college degree but by your willingness to learn. He was a licensed civil engineer but was now working in the Information Technology area.

Taking the Leap of Faith

While working as an IT person, Mark learned as much as he can about the systems and other processes that he knew he could apply outside the company. He knew that he wanted to become an entrepreneur someday so as early as possible, he was preparing for that leap of faith.

In 2010, he and two other friends opened MYNE Inc., a company that provides digital embroidery and digital printing. For five years, he juggled between P&G and MYNE Inc., foregoing personal time to focus on his growing business.

In May 2015, he has finally decided to leave his job to become a Certified Leapreneur.
