If you are selling items or offering your services worth thousands of pesos, then you know you got to follow up.

Unfortunately, when customers don’t buy after the initial contact, we often move on and forget about them. Most people don’t care to follow up because they are too busy entertaining new inquiries or they think that customers will just come back.

Guess what? Based on research, only 3% of customers buy after the initial contact! While more than 80% of deals are closed after 5 follow ups or more!

That means if you don’t follow up with a potential customer, you’re losing 97% of potential sales! How much can that be worth to you? Maybe hundreds of thousands or even millions of pesos, right?!

So make sure you put it a priority on you and your sales people to keep in touch with your potential customers. Don’t be too pushy, but rather build a relationship that will set you apart from everyone else.

And when they are ready to buy, guess whose company will be on top of their list?

That’s because “People buy when they are ready to buy, not when you are ready to sell.”

Are you doing follow ups regularly? Let me know your thoughts below.
